This is my E-portfolio showing off my best work, that I am proud and work that I have given all of my effort and my knowledge into. This is the work I think sets me away, and makes me, an AdVENTURE student away from other students. This work shows my skills, and my enthusiasm for learning. This work I believe showed me many new skills, and many new ways to do things.
As an AdVENTURE student since day one of the program, I have been through thick and thin with the program. AdVENTURE taught me many things, and showed me so much that I wouldn't have seen or learned in a regular classroom. The AdVENTURE community has been so supportive, and the students are here for what they came into school for to learn. And AdVENTURE has made it fun, and effective to the point that all the things I've learned at this program will stick with me and would some day be used as my knowledge expands.
The skills that I've been taught and that I have found will stick to me as long as I am in school, and as I work. The many skills like; Learning to present with others, learning to work with others that have a different mindset, researching, studying, and many more will shape the person I am in the future and show my upcoming, my story as a student. I believe these skills could help me explore more skills and make myself a bigger piece into a job that I will soon have.
The skills I have learned is the greatest thing that AdVENTURE showed me, the subjects that I have explored through, the more I wanted to dig through and the more that I grew interested into those subjects that I find interesting, got me closer to finding the kind of subjects, and kind of classes I will take in high school, and college. The many subjects and or jobs that I do like and take interest in are; Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Technology, Video games, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, and Architectural Engineering, match my hobbies, and most of that I am learning at AdVENTURE.
From the skills, to the subjects that I learn to love, isn't as important to me knowing that the teachers are the ones who cared enough to teach us, and commit their time after school to make sure no child was behind in our subjects, nor left behind on our assignments. AdVENTURE helped students to strive for greatness, to look for better and to always put 100% of our knowledge, our effort, and our time to our work and to everything we do in school. And that advice I hope everyone uses to actually implement it in to their life, and someday their job. These 4 years starting off as a small 5th grader, into a 8th grader that is bigger physically and in knowledge, AdVENTURE opened my eyes, showed me how to work, and how to be successful.
